CC Treadway is a multidisciplinary artist, art therapist and healer. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, an accomplished video editor and professional singer. Her visual art weaves together inspirations from her dreamtime and meditation, as well as her profound connection to nature, animals and spirit.
CC's mission is to help re-awaken humanity back to its innate beauty, wildness, holiness and goodness. To once again relate to earth, the animals, ourselves, each other and the cosmos with harmony and love.
It is the mysterious that flows through us that allows this beauty to come to the world. Every indigenous culture approached their crafts and songs with the deepest spiritual intention to uplift, heal and unite its peoples, as well as assist them to move through life’s stages and rites of passages. Forgetting this responsibility and purpose has unwittingly turned people against themselves. The original purpose for the arts must be restored as a primary function of bringing humanity back into the beauty way.
As the world becomes more technologically oriented, disconnected from its natural roots, the call from the soul to awaken becomes louder, not softer. Contrary to what you might see in the main stream, people are dying to remember what is good about them, and are flocking towards things that can help them feel better. We are supposed to feel better, and there are easy ways for that to happen.
